The Role of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

The role will suit a multi-disciplined Mechanical Design Engineer who has a natural enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to be responsible for products from conception to production.


Simple, effective, innovative designs for manufacture.


Direct involvement in project ownership, design, development and introduction of new instruments.


Development of design specifications, project briefs and project plans, suitable for presentation to the management team.


Used to working in a collaborative environment under pressure, meeting all deadlines including design and budget expectation.

The Ideal Person for the Mechanical Design Engineer:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline i.e.

Aerospace Engineering.


3 + years’ experience in a Mechanical Design role.


Communicative and confident.


Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
