Commercial gas engineer

Commercial gas – Walsall and surrounds
Basic salary up to £41K/ 42.5 hours including lunch and travel/ No on call/Overtime paid at x1.5/ 28 days holiday/van and fuel card/ uniform/ tools/ pension
Established for over 30 years we have served as the primary contractor for the local council in the upkeep of schools and council buildings and continued to support schools after their transition to attaining Academy status.

This work includes all aspects of gas heating, plumbing, electrical, legionella issues, emergency call-outs, and annual servicing of the heating plant and commercial catering equipment in these establishments.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance, repair and breakdown of all commercial heating equipment
Field based meeting clients - Customer facing position

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

Commercial gas qualifications (Commercial CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1,COCN1,ICAE1,ICPN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1,CoNGLP1PD )
Oftec, LPG or FGAS Qualification would also be an advantage
Full Driver’s Licence

Package:

Basic salary up to £41K
42.5 including lunch and travel (40 hour working)
No on call rota - The only exception to this is over the Christmas period where they may be on call for 1 day
Over time available paid at x1.5
20 days plus 8 banks
Walsall and surrounds all local work
Contracts worked - mainly for council properties, typically schools.

We also do some commercial work in factories and nursing homes, again all local
