Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the IT Services sector for an experienced Deskside Support Engineer to be based at a prestigious customer site, providing on-site IT support and remote support for customer satellite sites, including installation, support, and service/repair of IT Systems/equipment.

Deskside Support Engineer - Responsibilities:

Incident management & resolution
IMAC (Installations, Moves and Changes)
Onsite Hardware Break/Fix support (Dell) and manage OEM warranty provider
Remote support for satellite sites
Mobile device support
Maintain/update network infrastructure
Coordinate MFD and network Printer installs
Peripheral support
IT Asset/Stock equipment management
Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment
Project support as required
Act as a central point of contact for the customer


Deskside Support Engineer - Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role providing Desktop and IT Hardware Break/Fix support.
Experience supporting Mobile devices, Printer/MFD’s and Peripherals
Experience supporting Windows10, O365, AD and SCCM
Knowledge of administering Windows Share\File permissions
Excellent customer facing and customer services skills.
Excellent communicator both face-to-face and remotely
Willingness to travel for projects if required.
Experience with ServiceNow and/or ITIL desirable.
