Lead Electronic Design Engineer

For this Lead Electronic Design Engineer position, you will be supporting the design and development of a new range of products as well as the company legacy products.

Main responsibilities for this Lead Electronic Design Engineer will include:
- Leading the electronic realisation of the products through the creation of Design Documentation, Schematics and PCB designs, and product BOMS
- Ensuring that the product requirements are captured and decomposed for Hardware Development.
- Ensuring that the product design meets the requirements, is validated, and verified successfully.
- Ensuring the products compliance status is identified, reported, and any issues are addressed to meet the customers and stakeholders’ expectations.
- Leading the maintenance of existing designs in-line with production and certification requirements.

The skills/experience this Lead Electronic Design Engineer will have are:
- Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM management and NPI
- Well versed in technical document generation from specifications through to test plans
- Experience of EMC, Safety standards and design best practice is essential
- Experience with ECAD software, including PADS or Altium
