Head of Sales and Marketing
Full Time Monday to Friday.
Office based: Merseyside
Salary: Up to £60k-£65k DOE plus £6k car allowance plus bonus
Benefits include private healthcare and contributory pension scheme

I’m looking for to speak to experienced Head of Sales and Marketing experts about an exciting new role with a family-owned manufacturing company business in Prescot.

The role will involve leading a small sales and marketing team to drive new business, develop new revenue streams and create a cohesive sales and marketing strategy.

You will be a part of the senior leadership team and will have a real impact on the growth of the business, but they also need someone who roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.


The Role:

Help and manage an experienced sales team in order to meet the company growth targets through effective communication and strong leadership
Develop a cohesive sales and marketing strategy
Grow existing accounts and implement strategies to acquire new customers, optimising penetration opportunities.
Identify and assess business opportunities and markets, aligning strategies with key business goals.
Define a go-to-market strategy encompassing offerings, marketing, and key messages.
Marketing mapping and New business development.
Deliver excellent customer service to promote long lasting customer relationships.
Salesforce CRM system management including gathering and managing data, analysis, and supplying additional information and support across the business.
Being aware of changes in market trends, new opportunities for growth and understanding competitors.
Attending Trade Association meetings and events.
Assisting the marketing team with long and short term marketing plans and implementing ideas generated by the sales team.


You:

Solid B2B sales & marketing experience
Experience of team leadership in a target driven environment
Confidence using Salesforce CRM system
Experience of selling construction products is desirable
Confident, consultative sales approach
Result and target driven mentality
Leads by example
