Project Manager

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a globally recognised organisation involved within the exciting technology sector of Rugged and Industrial Computers and Communication Systems, based at their site in Redditch.

Due to continued growth my client in Redditch is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage projects and develop a strategic roadmap.

Duties of the Project Manager job include:

Deliver all projects in line with the Project Management department best practice methodology
Produce detailed project plans and manage interdependencies with other work package.
Setting up and management of the wider project team involving additional project management resource, internal technical resource and 3rd party suppliers
Serve as primary contact for engineering team members requiring support from the business.
Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues.


Key skills and experience for the Project Manager job are:

Qualified and experienced working with PRINCE2 at Practitioner level.
Demonstrable record of resolving issues that threatened to delay or seriously disrupt the project goals
Experience of project delivery within a technical environment
Driven to ensure that tasks are completed thoroughly and within deadlines.
Experience in managing deliverables via 3rd party vendors.
Current valid UK SC clearance or willingness to become security cleared.
