They are looking for another Servicing and Installation Engineer to join their fantastic team in Derby.
Servicing and Installation Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Installing a variety of machines and barfeeds
- Performing maintenance and servicing of machines
- Conducting barfeed alignments
- Substituting parts and consumables when required
- Providing machine condition reports and suggesting additional service tasks
Servicing and Installation Engineer Requirements:
- Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the position involves installing and servicing a diverse selection of sliding head lathes, barfeeds, and additional equipment.
- Essential qualifications for the candidate encompass a robust mechanical background, while a fundamental grasp of electrical circuits is preferable.
Moreover, familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is advantageous.
- Although experience with FANUC control systems and multi-axis CNC lathes is preferred, expertise in sliding head operations isn't obligatory due to comprehensive training being provided.
- The ideal candidate should possess self-motivation, displaying the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Effective communication skills and proficiency in IT are also imperative.
- The role necessitates extensive travel within the UK and Eire, requiring occasional overnight stays.
