Personal Advisor - Leaving Care Team - StockportAre you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a Leaving Care Team based in Stockport. Umbrella Rate: £17 per hourDuration: 20/03/2024 – 2 months initiallyHours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 hrs/week - Must be flexible - HybridPersonal Advisor role: Full JD Available
Direct work with young people aged 16 – 25 years who are leaving care and making the transition to adulthood to ensure they reach their potentialManage a caseload and keep accurate case records of workComplete visits and keep in constant contact with the young peopleContribute to Pathway Plan Assessments and provide ongoing assessment with young people to inform Pathway PlanningIdentify packages of support for young people living in the community and supervise and monitor the delivery of tasks in accordance with the pathway plan to meet young person’s needsProvide practical advice, assistance and support to the young peoplePromote the young people’s independenceSupport with daily skills such as financial skills and budgetingLiaise with a range of agencies including Early Help & Prevention Service, Education and Careers Advice Service, Police, YOS, Health, Housing, Higher/Further Education providersDevelop and maintain close relationships with the young people all partner agencies who play their part in supporting the care leaversAttend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary
Essential Requirements
UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insuranceMust have experience as a Personal Advisor in a Leaving Care TeamExperience/ knowledge of working with care leavers/ young people in careHighly motivated to achieve the best outcome for the young peopleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsYou Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UKMust already have an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
