Service Engineer

Experienced Service Engineer for UPVC Aluminium windows and doors.  Job Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Business based in Woolpit, Bury St EdmundsPosition is working within East Anglia and North Kent.

Portico GB Limited is a leading subcontractor to the new build industry based in Woolpit, near to Bury St Edmunds.The Role – Site Service Engineer/Window Fitter:Due to continued expansion, we require a Site Service Engineer within our window department.

The successful candidate would live within the Essex area, must be willing to travel as our sites are based all over East Anglia and Northern Kent area.

This would suit an ex- window fitter who has experience of fitting windows and doors into new build plots.

A valid CSCS Card is essential and a full driving licence.

Basic hours for this role are 40 per week.  An excellent remuneration package is offered.

Van will be provided.Responsibilities – Site Service Engineer:You will be responsible for remedial/repair works to windows/doors on live construction developments in a safe and timely manner.•  You will be required to deal with the initial visit and uncover the problems that exist.•  You will appoint your own diary on liaison with the office.•  Collating and processing of client documents.•  Dealing with the office on parts needed.•  To complete reports of each visit accurately.•  To undertake other work to which you are capable and carry out any other duties, which may be required when service work loads are quiet.  •  Valid full UK driving license.
