Consultant Psychiatrist

Are you a Psychiatrist seeking a new challenge? Are you looking for work on a LOCUM basis? Service Care Solutions are working with North-East London Foundation Trust to recruit an experienced Psychiatrist to support an Older Adult Mental Health service on a LOCUM basis.

The successful candidate will work with the Barking & Dagenham Adult Services for the duration of 12 Weeks with the likelihood of extension.

This is a Full-Time providing care to older adults with mental health needs - both functional and organic.Job Purpose: Consultant PsychiatristPay: £60.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Welcome BonusLocation: Dagenham, EssexWorking Hours: Monday - FridayContract: 40 hours Key Responsibilities:

To undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients.
To record clinical activity accurately and comprehensively and submit this promptly to the Information Department, their patients will be registered with a GP Practice located in the Northern part of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham
To participate in service and business planning activity for the locality and, as appropriate, for the whole mental health service.
To participate in annual appraisal for consultants.
Work within 2 separate MDT’s; The Older Adults Mental Health Team and the Memory Service
To attend and participate in the academic programme of the Trust, including lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD programme.
To maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council, Mental Health Act Section 12(2) approval, and to abide by professional codes of conduct.

Full GMC Registration
Old Age Psychiatry Experience Essential
Section 12 Approved
Approved Clinician Status
