Child & Family Worker
Location: Bridge House, Worthing covering central area of WSCC (Worthing/Horsham)
Hours per week: 37.5 - Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:30, with some degree of flexibility required.
Salary: £17ltd per hour
West Sussex County Council are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child & Family Worker to join their team.

As a Child & Family Worker, you will be responsible for supporting a Social Worker in transporting and attending all home visits and meetings away from the office.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to a Social Worker in transporting and attending all home visits and meetings away from the office
Assist in implementing care plans for children and young people
Conduct assessments of children and families and provide recommendations for support and intervention
Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

Requirements:

A UK driving license and access to your own car
Experience in a similar role, preferably within a local authority setting
A relevant qualification in social work or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
