Educational Psychologist
Are you an Educational Psychologist seeking a new LOCUM challenge? Do you have previous experience working with Children and young people with learning, communication, physical and sensory needs? Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Children’s Services within a School environment.
The successful candidate will provide psychological support to Children with Mental Health Difficulties throughout the Tower Hamlets Area.
The contract will run for a minimum of 6 months with the likelihood of extension.
Job Purpose: Educational Psychologist Pay Rate: £79.66 LTD per/hour (£557.64 per/day LTD) + £250 SCS Welcome Bonus!Location: Mulberry Place, London Borough of Tower HamletsWorking Hours: 2 Days a week, 09:00 – 17:00Contract: 14 hoursKey Responsibilities:
The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with strong formal reporting and presentation skills.
To be able to demonstrate the ability to research, problem solve, and self-manage in relation to time and priority, producing written reports.
The post holder will work as part of the wider and provide Psychological Assessments and 1:1 treatment to service users with a variety of Mental Health needs including Learning Disabilities.
Requirements
Qualification in Psychology – or equivalent acceptable for BPS.
Experience working with children and/or young people and their families.
HCPC Registration.
