Early Help Assistant - Sutton-in-AshfieldAre you a passionate, dedicated Early Help Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an Early Help Assistant to join a Children, Families and Young People team based in Nottinghamshire.

You will support the work of the service in securing best outcomes for children, young people and their families. Umbrella Rate: £16.09 per hourDuration: 18/03/2024 – 3 months initiallyHours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – HybridEarly Help Assistant role: Full JD Available
Direct work with children, young people and their families in line with the relevant planProvide information, advice and support to service users and their carersProvide direct support to children and families, to enable plans to be to progressed in a more timely mannerSupport Early Help Case Managers in the assessment of the needsSupport Early Help Case Managers to implement plans for children and families where appropriateComplete home visits planned and unplannedProvide transportation where requiredReview and assess the impact of plans for children and familiesLiaise with schools, health services, voluntary agencies and other partner agencies to gather information and implement support for children and familiesParticipate in team activities e.g.

team meetings, case discussions, review of team workArrange and attend Multi-agency meetings, with responsibility for associated administrative tasksMaintain accurate and up to date written recordsTake up opportunities for relevant training and development
Essential Requirements
UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insuranceAt least two years' experience of working with children, young people and their families in a social care environmentKnowledge of child development and children’s needsStrong interpersonal skills with a range of people including children, young people, parents and carers, colleagues and other professionals and managersExperience of working with other agencies, either in the statutory or voluntary sectorWillingness on occasion to work outside or beyond core hoursEnhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
