Parent and Family Worker - NottinghamshireAre you a passionate, dedicated Parent and Family Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Parent and Family Worker to join a Parenting Team based in Nottinghamshire.Umbrella Rate: £18.31 per hourDuration: 18/03/2024 – 3 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – HybridParent and Family Worker role: Full JD Available
Direct work with parents, children and young people to deliver interventions to support families.

This could include helping them to build routines and boundaries, deal with family conflict and reduce safeguarding concernsHelp to deliver evidence based parenting groups and programmes such as Solihull Parenting, Non-Violent Resistance or 123 Magic, or a range of workshops focused on parenting children and young peopleAssessments of parenting for adults with a learning disabilityFamilies are normally open to either Social Care or another Lead Professional who has completed a family assessment and have requested some direct work with the familyCommunicate effectively with allocated lead professionalsProduce short, formal reports to explain the outcomes assessments and interventions when requiredKeep and maintain records of work doneAttend meetings, reviews and conferences where requiredMaintain a current knowledge and awareness of legislation, policy, procedure and practice in the post holder’s field of work
Essential Requirements
UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insuranceLevel 3+ in Childcare, Teaching or Family SupportA minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, young people and their familiesExperience in delivering interventions to support familiesExperience in family/ parent assessmentsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsEnhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
