Training:
Youth Worker Level 6.
Training will take place at The University of Sunderland. Apprentices will be released for one day a week from their workplace to complete their university studies.
Training Outcome:
Any industry that works with young people, e.g. teaching, youth work, criminal justice system Leadership and management in a youth work setting
Employer Description:
To promote the benefit of young person between 11 and 25 living in Washington and the surrounding areas without distinction of gender, politics, religion, or opinions in association with the local authorities, voluntary organisation and those young persons, in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objects of improving the conditions of life of those young persons so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity within the community.
Working Hours :
As with the nature of youth work being varied and diverse, your working week will consist of a combination of days and evenings - no more than 30 hours per week. Exact working days and hours to be discussed
