Mobile Maintenance Electrician - Manchester - National Facilities Management

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a leading national facilities management provider on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established organisation delivering first-class services across a wide range of industries.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial environments, with proven expertise in diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.

This is a mobile role, covering Manchester and surrounding areas.

Package:

Responsibilities:
Carry out routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential faults and ensure compliancePerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and maximise equipment lifespanDiagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring systems are fully operational with minimal disruptionInstall, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical componentsWork closely with other maintenance staff and external contractors to coordinate repair works and system upgradesEnsure all work is carried out in line with current health & safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications:
Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)Proven experience in a Maintenance Electrician role within the facilities management sectorFull UK driving licenceStrong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and compliance requirementsConfident in fault finding, diagnosing, and resolving issues independentlyExcellent problem-solving skills, with great attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-focused approach
