Therapeutic Practitioner

Do you experience of working with therapeutic frameworks within children’s residential care? This is a non-residential role that gives you the opportunity to train staff therapeutically, whilst working flexibly? You must have:

Previous experience, expertise and evidence of therapeutic training or qualifications, including those in progress. This could include PACE or similar models. CBT, play therapy, or psychotherapy Previous experience of working with children and young people that have experiences trauma, including both verbal and non-verbal individuals. At least two years direct experience working directly with children A strong understanding of Complex and Developmental Trauma.

Responsibilities:

Delivering training to staff on therapeutic practices to foster a supportive environment for children and young people. Work effectively with various stakeholders to support the holistic development of the children and young people. Be prepared to travel for work up to four times per year.
