Deputy Manager - Birmingham (B42)

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for our client based in Birmingham (B42).  

Our client is a provider of care and support to children & young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Assist in managing daily operations and leading shiftsAssist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the homeSupervise, mentor, and support staff, ensuring high care standardsLead shifts and provide on-call support when requiredSupervise and support staff, conducting training and appraisalsEnsure safeguarding and regulatory compliance (Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015)Support care planning and advocate for young people’s well-beingMaintain a safe, well-run home and complete administrative duties

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards itExperience working in a children’s residential settingStrong leadership, communication, and safeguarding knowledgeAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (must be flexible to cover if required)
