Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Performance-Based Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Home Manager to lead and manage a large, complex care home in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Home Manager with experience managing a large home or having worked at a regional level overseeing services with complex needs.

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and leadership. You will be a strong, visible leader who can drive quality improvements, manage staff effectively, and maintain a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring high-quality care for residents with complex needs.

Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.

Provide strong, visible leadership to the staff team, fostering a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability.

Oversee clinical governance, care delivery, and safeguarding procedures.

Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial and operational efficiency.

Drive continuous quality improvements within the home to enhance resident experience and care outcomes.

Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.

Build strong relationships with residents, families, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Monitor and assess service performance, implementing necessary changes to achieve outstanding standards.

Requirements

Nurse-qualified – Active NMC registration is essential.

Proven experience as a Home Manager in a large and complex care environment OR previous regional-level experience.

A strong, visible leader with excellent management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, and clinical governance.

Experience in managing large teams and complex operational challenges.

A track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving strong regulatory outcomes.

Financial and budgetary management experience.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
