My client is looking for an Experienced Chef de Partie – Pastry who will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
You will oversee a specific pastry section, ensuring consistency, creativity, and adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, desserts, and bread to high standards.Oversee and manage the pastry section of the kitchen.Assist in menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to dessert offerings.Ensure quality control and consistency in presentation and taste.Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering.Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the pastry section.Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.Work closely with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation.Creativity and attention to detail in presentation.Ability to work efficiently under pressure.Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.Team player with strong organisational skills.Working Hours:
Shift-based, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
