Apprentice Early Years Educator-LITTLE ANGELS PRE-SCHOOL (SWADLINCOTE)
What you’ll do at work:
Create meaningful relationships with the children, your team and with parents to provide the best service for our families Ensure that every child's well-being is met by providing a thriving and safe environment Safeguarding all children in the setting and making sure any child protection concerns are always appropriately acted upon immediately You will observe, monitor and support delivering activities and learning experiences linked to the EYFS Support delivery of a nature-inspired play-based approach to learning, with several mornings per week based in our private woodland area Ensure children’s progress and achievements are regularly and effectively assessed and recorded Meet the needs of individual children, having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures, and medical histories. Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship NCFE Diploma for the Early Years WorkforceLevel 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid OR Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid Apprentices will achieve a qualification which has been approved to count towards the EYFS Level 3 child-to-staff ratios Level 2 Functional skills in maths and English, if required
Training Outcome:
Once you have finished the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to continue working for the same company and progress on to Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner, EYITT, ECT or Level 3 Early Years SENCO.
Early Years Educators are found in a range of settings including day nurseries, playgroups, nursery schools, pre-schools, kindergartens, primary schools, hospitals, social care settings, out of school environments and local authority provision, giving you a broad range of employment opportunities.

Welcome to Little Angels Swadlincote We were established in 2001 and located here to the Old Post Centre in 2002 . Our team are passionate about the care and education of our children and strive to give them the best possible start to their educational years .Children of all abilities are welcome and we pride ourselves in rhe SEN support we provide . We have an age range from nine months to 4 years ,our setting is an integrated setting , with all the age range of children situated in our small homely environment .This enables children to access all our resources and activities which are differentiated and age appropriate activities.
Working Hours :
The successful candidate will be offered initially part time 16-18 hour, this may change - the setting opening hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-15.45 and hours TBC.
