Sports Turf Machinery Engineering Apprentice

Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on sports turf machinery, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition Equipment Inspection: Perform detailed inspections of machinery to identify any issues or areas needing attention Assisting Technicians: Work closely with senior technicians to learn best practices in operating and maintaining various turf care equipment Learning Equipment Functionality: Gain hands-on experience with innovative machinery, including autonomous mowers and robotic equipment Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance procedures, repairs, and inspections Training on New Technologies: Participate in training sessions focused on the latest turf care technologies and techniques Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines and procedures while handling machinery and tools in the workshop and on-site Customer Interaction: Assist in communicating with clients about equipment usage and maintenance practices Workshop Organisation: Help maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to ensure efficiency and safety Problem-Solving: Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues effectively

Training:
Once a week teaching sessions (3x online, 1x in person at BCA), the rest of the time spent at workplace Functional Skills once a week, if neccessary
