Welding using metal inert gas (MIG) process Welding using the tungsten inert gas (TIG) process Cutting Drilling Disciplines within fabrication, such as sheet metalwork fabrication Working alongside a skilled team

Training:
Level 3 Plate Welder qualification Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment

Training Outcome:
Opportunity to progress onto a qualified welder/fabricator position within the company

Matravers Engineering are a family run company, established over 50 years. We specialise in the design and fabrication of steel moulds for the use by major precast concrete manufacturers, and many of the main building and civil engineering companies. Providing a range of steel moulds for products like; Columns, Beams, Staircases, Terrace Units, and Crash Barriers, as well as Structural Steel work and General Engineering. Current and ongoing projects include Hinkley Point C and HS2.



Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 8.00am - 4:30pm. Friday, 8.00am - 3:30pm.
