Early Yeas Level 3 Apprenticeship - Sunny Days Nursery

As a level 3 apprentice, you will be a key member of the nursery team. Your daily activities may include:

Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children  Play alongside and with children to support their play Supporting children’s creative and imaginative experiences  Maintaining development records on key children  Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes  Contributing to and promoting health and safety  Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times  Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their child

This position would suit a candidate with a bubbly, outgoing personality who is able to work on their own initiative and is prepared to commit to the work required for an apprenticeship.

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma End-Point Assessment (EPA)

Progression to a higher level qualification or full-time employment may be available after completion of the apprenticeship.

Sunny Day’s is a small, homely, 57-place private day nursery situated in the heart of Chester Green in Derby. The nursery is based in a two-storey, detached house that is fully equipped to care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. It offers three dedicated units designed to support children as they grow and flourish in line with their age and stage of development. The team of fully qualified, professional and caring staff are committed to supporting both parents and children from their very first visit to the nursery. Sunny Day’s provides a true home-from-home approach to care and education, recognising that parents are a child’s first and most influential educators. Children are encouraged to have fun, build friendships and thrive in a nurturing environment, while also developing lifelong skills and reaching important milestones that prepare them for a smooth transition into Primary School. The nursery offers a variety of contracts and session options to suit individual family needs and operates all year round (excluding bank holidays) from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
