Machining Technician Apprentice
As a Machining Technician apprentice, you will:
Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment, including lathes and milling machines. Manufacture and repair precision gas turbine engine components to meet repair scheme specifications, quality and production schedule requirements. Manufacture/ modify fixtures and tooling. Assist production engineering with tool, fixture & jig designs & implement these into repair & overhaul procedures. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and process documentation. Use precision measuring equipment to inspect components and ensure quality standards.Over the course of the programme, you will study towards your Level 3 Diploma whilst acquiring the knowledge, skills and competence to operate as a machining technician alongside our adept team who will offer guidance and mentorship.
Training:
The training will be delivered by PETA Ltd. Your training will be delivered Day Release at PETA Ltd Engineering Centre, Havant, PO9 2NT. The schedule of this day release is to be confirmed.
Training Outcome:
Upon completion of your apprenticeship programme, you could be offered a full-time permanent position with the chance to progress within the team.

Monday to Thursday 7am - 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 12pm.
