Greenkeeping Apprentice

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers. Learn to operate turf care machinery safely and effectively. Support irrigation, drainage, and turf repair work. Help with course set-up, including hole changing and marking. Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Training:

Training will take place 4 x days per week at the golf course, with day release to be confirmed.

 

Training Outcome:

Full-time employment with the golf course on completion of the apprenticeship.

One of the best parkland golf courses in the North East of England. We are a friendly members golf club, with a very active men's, lady's, and a strong, vibrant junior section.

The club is supported by strong golf professional team with one of the largest golf professional shops in the North East.

Working Hours :
Full-time - hours depending on the season. Early mornings, weekends, and some bank holidays
