Health and Social Care Apprenticeship - Chatham

We’re looking for someone who is patient, supportive, and dependable, with a positive, energetic attitude and a good sense of humour. You should feel comfortable providing personal care and physical support in a respectful and dignified way. Most importantly, you’ll be committed to person-centred values, empowering the people we support to live independently, make their own choices, and enjoy a fulfilling life.

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide tailored support based on each individual’s needs, preferences, and goals. Key responsibilities include:

Daily Living Support:

Assisting with personal hygiene, including personal care where needed Supporting meal preparation and encouraging healthy eating habits Promoting physical activity and exercise Helping develop independent living skills Community and Leisure Activities

Supporting the gentlemen to enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

Golf Bowling Aromatherapy Theatre trips and pantomimes Pub lunches and cinema outings Walking and gardening Shopping trips Encouragement and Empowerment Helping each individual do more for themselves Encouraging social interaction and participation in everyday life

Training:

Paragon Skills is an award-winning, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’, national apprenticeship provider inspiring over 10,000 learners annually and working with over 3000 businesses to deliver apprenticeships in a high-quality, consistent way. Our dedicated focus on the Care and Education sectors means we are deeply rooted within these sectors and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of what is required from a training perspective. Upon completion of this 12 month Apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship.



Training Outcome:
There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship
