Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentice

You will undertake training and receive guidance to gain the knowledge to complete the following responsibilities:

Measuring and cutting to bespoke sizes all our cut-to-size matting Making handmade mat products, skills that have been used for hundreds of years Package orders to a high standard, ready to be collected Helping in the fulfilment of other orders Working alongside the Customer Service team to deliver a high standard of service Receiving and unloading of deliveries, checking the deliveries against the delivery notes Stock taking Checking in returns, and actioning with appropriate parties Book despatch requests with the delivery service Keep the stores secure, ensuring all stock is booked out/in correctly Ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and escalating issues relating to possible stock shortages Use appropriate manual handling equipment General housekeeping Undertake any other relevant tasks that may be required

Training:
A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course This is a predominantly work-based programme with College attendance required once a month All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours
