Eventing Yard Apprenticeship (Intermediate Equine Groom)

Daily duties will include, but won't be limited to:

Mucking out Turning out and bringing in Tacking up and tack cleaning Filling hay nets, feeding and watering Clipping, pulling, plaiting, trimming Bathing Rug changing Paddock and yard maintenance Schooling and hacking First aid Exercising horses from the ground Holding vet, farrier, dentist and physio Handling fit event horses

Training:

The successful candidate will undertake 15 months training whilst working towards their Intermediate Equine Groom apprenticeship. All training will be carried out at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be delivered by Haddon Training.



Training Outcome:

This role will give you the confidence and experience to pursue whichever path you choose in the equestrian world.



Employer Description:
Run by a highly experienced coach, who enjoys teaching riders of all standards. Options range from attending a clinic to basing yourself and your horse – either for a few days or for longer. Bill Levett Eventing can help you work towards your goals, drawing up a specific plan for you and your horse, covering both flat work and jumping. They also take on long term coaching posts, and give clinics both around the UK and overseas.

Working Hours :
The successful candidate can expect to be working a 40 hour week spread over 5 days. Days and times to be confirmed.
