Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting managers and staff in the day-to-day running of the nursery Supervising and supporting children’s learning, play, and development Ensuring children are cared for in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment Complying with all health and safety and safeguarding policies Assisting with meal preparation, snacks, and general nursery housekeeping duties Liaising with parents and carers in a professional and supportive manner Maintaining confidentiality where appropriate Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, parents’ evenings, and occasional events outside normal working hours Supporting day-to-day operations Working alongside experienced staff Participating in ongoing training and developmentTraining:
During your apprenticeship, you will:
Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited Complete at least 20% off-the-job training Study the Early Years Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship standard Gain hands-on experience in a real working childcare environmentTraining Outcome:
Learners can use this qualification to go into various care roles You can progress onto the advanced apprenticeship and work your way up in the nursery going into team leading and management roles You could also use your experience to go into teaching, nursing, midwifery, play work and social work There are many directions you can go with your apprenticeship, should you wish

Our partner is a well-established nursery located in Walthamstow, London. They provide full-time childcare and early years education for children aged three months to five years. The nursery offers a warm, supportive, and professional environment focused on children’s development, wellbeing, and learning, while supporting families within the local community.
Working Hours :
Full-time – 37.5 hours per week Working days: Monday to Friday (shifts to be confirmed between 8:00am–6:00pm, 1-hour lunch break).
