Sustainability Apprentice
You will work closely with other members of the sustainability team and with stakeholders across the business to drive forward projects that help measure and lower our carbon emissions, as well as progressing our wider sustainable development goals (SDGs). You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, while learning how sustainability principles apply in a global engineering context. This role offers experience, mentorship, and a clear pathway to becoming a Sustainability Officer.
What will I do?
Candidates applying for this position should have a keen interest in Sustainability. Some of the key activities in this apprenticeship include:
Collect, validate, and analyse sustainability-related data to inform business decisions and support regulatory reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into business practices Support with regulatory sustainability reporting and data auditing ensuring compliance with standards Contribute to projects focused on improving data quality and carbon reduction initiatives Support in the development of clear and compelling communications about sustainability progress to internal and external stakeholders Proactively understand emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices Gain an understanding of an ESG strategy within a FTSE250 organisation Be a visible sustainability advocate, promoting awareness and supporting new initiatives across the business.Training Outcome:
Following the completion of the apprenticeship, you will transfer into a role within the Sustainability Team, if a role is available, where there will be continued improvement and development of your skills and knowledge. For the right candidates, continued study towards a degree apprenticeship or other sector-relevant qualification is supported where relevant.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, usual business hours with an early finish on a Friday.
