Degree Apprentice
You will learn to assist a team of engineers and technicians with the production of engineering drawings and assist in the production of 3D or 2D drawings using computer software
You will learn about the preparation of simple engineering calculations and the importance of initially checking your own work
You will contribute to providing solutions to design problems and assist in meeting agreed deadlines, and support the administration of projects
You will gain industry experience by attending meetings and/or site visits/surveys with Senior Engineers or others in the design team
You will increase your skills, knowledge and confidence in the role by attending and participating in company activities, presentations and workshops
You will be required to keep your training log up to date and attend training/Continuous Professional Development where appropriate
You will also benefit from additional training via the Company’s WW:Academy initiative
Training:
Building Services Engineering Senior Technician Level 4.
Training Outcome:
On completion of your HNC, you will enrol into university to study towards your degree, and onto a master's if desired. You will also be enrolled into our own WW:Academy initiative and be supported in your career development as far as you want to go!

Wallace Whittle are leading Environmental Building Services Consulting Engineers who are looking to recruit a Trainee Building Services Engineer to work on some large and iconic construction projects across the UK.
We have ambitious growth plans across England, with offices spanning London, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester, and we are keen to bring the next generation of engineers with us on this journey. Our goal is to double our England turnover over the next three years.

The position is full-time based in London and will allow the successful candidate to gain vital knowledge and experience on the job whilst attaining first a HNC and then a Degree by day release, with additional training being provided via the Company’s WW:Academy initiative.
Working Hours :
Working week - Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. Time away from the office to attend college included in the 35 hours, typically one full day each week. 3 days allowed away from the office for exam study leave each academic year.
