Audio Apprentice - Bloomsbury Group
Administrative tasks such as preparing reader contracts, processing of invoices and archiving of paperwork
Carrying out casting research for new projects
Preparation of manuscripts ahead of recordings (including pronunciation research, text splits)
Creation of a file metadata for audiobooks, such as a table of
contents and supplementary PDFs
Adding audio-specific metadata to the bibliographic system
Proof listening of audio files
Supporting our operations team with checking of audio files ahead of distribution, and troubleshooting any issues
Sharing audio files for each title with the editor/author/agents
Work with our marketing and publicity departments to supply audio for reviews
Title availability checks on publication dates across key retailers
Attending studio recordings on occasion
Contributing content for the audio social media account and internal newsletter
Training Outcome:
Full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, between 9.00am - 5.00pm.
