Workshop Cleaner Location - Southampton Salary - Up to £31,200 per annum Hours - Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 We are seeking a reliable Workshop Cleaner to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar environment who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Benefits of the Workshop Cleaner role: - Competitive salary up to £31,200 per annum - 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays (increasing with service) - Full-time, permanent role – Monday to Friday hours - Supportive and professional working environment - Variety in daily tasks and cross-departmental support Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Cleaner: - Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across workshop, yard, and staff areas - Perform daily yard checks, litter picking, sweeping, and deep cleaning as needed - Empty bins and manage recycling and waste segregation - Operate the floor cleaning machine to maintain a safe and tidy workspace - Support with valeting and steam cleaning of vehicles - Assist with workshop tools and storage organisation - Move and park vehicles securely, ensuring keys are logged correctly - Assist in the stores and parts departments with deliveries and stock management - Support service operations, including vehicle collection and MOT presentation Requirements for the Workshop Cleaner: - Previous experience required within a similar cleaning or workshop role - Full UK driving licence essential - Forklift licence desirable but not essential - Reliable, detail-focused, and proactive team player If you’re a hardworking Workshop Cleaner who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced automotive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
