Automotive Strip Fitter

Key responsibilities:
• stripping vehicles prior to repair
• removing and refitting panels, trim and components
• identifying additional damage and reporting to the workshop controller or vda
• ensuring parts are stored, labelled and refitted correctly
• working closely with panel and paint teams to meet repair deadlines
• maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:
• previous experience as a strip fitter or met technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
• good knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes
• ability to follow manufacturer repair methods
• strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
