We are seeking an experienced Principal Senior Electrical Engineer for a design role to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Hybrid working is available, though office attendance will be required for principal engineers.
Location: Merseyside or Greater Manchester Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience and level Working Arrangement: 36 hours per week, 4 or 5-day working week flexible Start: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems, including circuitry and schematics, from RIBA Stage 2 onwards
Produce and review drawings, specifications, and calculations
Ensure designs comply with regulations, standards, and codes
Mentor and support junior engineers
Drive internal processes and continuous improvements
Attend site surveys and meetings as required
Requirements:
Minimum 10-15 years' experience in an electrical design role
Proficient in Dialux, Electrical OM, Revit, AutoCAD, and Amtech
Strong understanding of electrical regulations, standards, and codes
Experience in mentoring or managing junior engineers
Ability to work on-site when required and collaborate effectively in an office environment
