6x Welder Fabricators required for a Structural Steel and Architectural Metalwork company in Lidlington, Bedfordshire starting 5th January
Location: Lidlington Start Date: 5th January 2026 Rate: £21.00 per hour CIS Contract Length: Minimum 2 months (temp to perm available for suitable candidates) Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (8 hours per day), with 50-60 hours available Weekends: Saturdays available at flat rate Parking: Free on-site parking
Duties:
Fabrication and welding of architectural metalwork and structural steel components
Working from fabrication drawings to produce steelwork accurately and to a good standard
Carrying out welding and general fabrication tasks within a workshop environment
Using fabrication tools and equipment safely and correctly
Assisting with fitting, finishing, and preparation of fabricated steel items
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area at all times
Requirements:
Experience in architectural metalwork or structural steel fabrication
Competent welder fabricator with workshop-based experience
Able to work independently while also supporting the wider team
