Production of engineering drawings and sketches, including 3D or 2D computer drawings
Production of Building Information Models (BIM)
Undertaking virtual design reviews
Preparation of simple engineering calculations
Contributing to solutions for design challenges
Taking part in design meetings, site visits, presentations and workshops
Helping with the administration of projects
Cover all aspects of Building Services Engineering
Training:
You will study towards the Level 4 Building Services Engineering Technician standard with Gateshead College at their Construction Skills Centre on Team Valley, Gateshead
The academic side of the apprenticeship runs parallel with on-the-job learning, once completed and passed through the gateway you will receive an industry acknowledged qualification
This Apprenticeship will include the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve Technician status with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (EngTech LCIBSE). The Technician Professional Review process for EngTech LCIBSE is included in the end-point assessment process for this Apprenticeship and will lead to the designatory letters EngTech LCIBSE and the status of Engineering Technician
Pearson Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Building Services Engineering (RQF/2023) qualification number (QN) 610/0940/4 --- OR- Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC in Construction and the Built Environment (Building Services Engineering) qualification number (QN) 603/0465/0
Training Outcome:
The opportunity to work full time at Kyoob upon completion of the apprenticeship
