Apprentice Early Years Educator - Toybox Children's Nursery Ltd

Following appropriate policies, procedures and systems ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children are always met To become involved in children’s activities to stimulate and extend their learning To demonstrate sensitivity toward children and families within the facility Assisting in the admission and induction of new children Assisting in the maintenance of all necessary records to meet internal, E.Y.D.C.P and Ofsted requirements To take an active role in the promotion of excellent health and safety practices To respond effectively to any health and safety issues that may arise and report any necessary matters To participate in training and meetings as requested by the management team Performing any other duties commensurate with the general nature of the position requested by the management team

Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) End-Point Assessment (EPA) Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) Apprentices must successfully complete the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

Training Outcome:
For the successful candidate there is the possibility of ongoing employment upon completion of the relevant qualifications

Toybox Children’s Nursery LTD is a family owned and managed childcare provider set in Walkley. We have over 10 years experience caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years. In 2017 the nursery turned to limited company, changing it’s name from Toybox Nursery to the one it is now. However we are still owned by the same family who set us up over 10 years ago and continue to be managed as we always have. We believe we provide excellent childcare and work with parents to provide a setting that is relaxed, safe and full of learning opportunities. We design our own observation and planning system to ensure that all children’s needs are met at individual levels. Children’s interests are encouraged and used to help them develop further in their learning.

Working Hours :
Monday- Friday Shifts to be confirmed between the hours of: 08:00 - 16:00 or 10:00 - 18:00 You will be paid for 37.5 hours per week
