Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprentice
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analysis and optimisation of our manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield improvements and waste reduction, whilst improving product quality. Work cross functionally with the Operations teams on projects to improve our KPIs. Help to investigate and resolve any technical or production related issues related to our products, using root cause analysis methodology. Act as a champion for Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the Company. Support employee training to ensure compliance with updated procedures. Develop an understanding of process routing. Document and monitor changes, ensuring effective adherence.Training:
You will work towards a Level 3 Engineering & Manufacturing Support Technician apprenticeship standard. You will be required to attend college one day per week, at the Plymouth Engineering Skills Centre. You will recieve support from a dedicated Apprenticeship Advisor.
Training Outcome:
Apprentices may go on to become a production/manufacturing engineer.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday. Working 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 3.30pm on a Friday.
