Apprentice Plasterer

Opportunity available within our busy Insurance Repair and Renovation Department. Successful applicants will be working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Plastering.

The Gelder Group is a diverse mixture of divisions and companies all orientated around the delivery of high-quality customer excellence in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our ever-expanding Insurance, Repair and Renovation team.

You will be part of an established dedicated team dealing with insurance repairs.

The ideal candidate will be able to work to tight timescales, use their own initiative and work at the highest standards, providing customers with quality work.

You will learn how to complete preparation and remedial work, mix and apply coatings using different techniques and work in a safe manner, using the correct tools and PPE at all times.

Training:

Plasterer - Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model, which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our construction campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only

Training Outcome:
This apprenticeship is a fixed-term apprenticeship for the duration of the apprenticeship, but may lead to full-time and permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 07.00 - 17:00.
