Prosthetic Technician Apprentice

Complete all required aspects of the Derby University Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician (Level 3) Apprenticeship program, with a view to become proficient and training:

To manufacture, align, service and repair prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices To consistently achieve quality standards and meet Patient appointment deadlines To integrate and work closely with the Burton Clinic Workshop Lead and other members of the wider Burton Clinic team, to ensure that clinical directives and standards are adhered to To work as directed by the Burton Clinic Workshop Lead To ensure all personally used work benches and related manufacturing areas are maintained in an organised, clean and safe fashion

Training:
Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard 1 full day (equivalent) typically spent on course work remotely with Derby University

Training Outcome:
Our hope is that following qualification as a Prosthetic Technician our apprentice will continue to develop in their skills and knowledge and be retained within our small workshop team

Employer Description:
We are a UK based private clinical company, part of the Ottobock international network. We offer high quality provision of prosthetic, orthotic and rehabilitation services specific to individuals' needs. We have 6 permanent clinic locations across England and Scotland with additional visiting clinics across the UK.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (30 Minutes Lunch per day)
