Apprentice Mechatronics Maintenance Technician

As an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

Attend and participate in all training provided Complete coursework and assessments for apprenticeship qualification Maintain a detailed training logbook and portfolio of work Follow instructions from mentors and management team members Assist engineers with planned preventative maintenance tasks Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

Training:

Mechatronics Technician Level 3 ST1305

All the Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours associated with this apprenticeship. Successful candidates will be required to attend COWA Wisbech for training one day a week until completion.

You will embark on an apprenticeship to become a skilled Maintenance Engineer, learning through hands-on experience and formal training. Your primary responsibilities involve actively participating in training, completing coursework, and assisting experienced engineers with preventative maintenance and repairs. You'll learn to diagnose faults, use various tools, and contribute to maintenance documentation, all while working collaboratively as part of a team and reporting your progress. You will diligently maintain a training logbook and proactively seek opportunities to enhance your skills.

We are the market leader in the industry and have 60 years of experience in the development and commercial supply of pressurised Metered Dose Asthma Inhalers (pMDIs), Metering Valves and Actuators. We make over 1 million devices a day on the King’s Lynn site and every second of the day 1000 people across the world are using one of our devices. We have multiple manufacturing areas on the King’s Lynn site and have over 175 injection moulding machines that create the components that are assembled using our automated systems.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. 1 day a week (Thursdays) will be at COWA Wisbech PE13 2JE.
