Static Electrician
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE | Static Site
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an estates team in Ayrshire. You’ll bring strong technical skills, a completed electrical apprenticeship, and a proactive approach to ensuring the safe, reliable operation of electrical systems, building services, plant, and equipment.
Duties & Responsbilities:
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, resolving issues promptly to avoid downtime and contractual penalties.
Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments to support the Permit-to-Work process.
Maintain and test building systems including electrical installations, emergency lighting, fire alarms, water systems, medical gases, and pressure systems.
Complete all required reports, test certificates, and task assessments in both digital and paper formats.
Work closely with the Facilities Team Leader to address equipment failures and organise parts, materials, or external services as required.
Participate in overtime and on-call rotas to support operational needs.
Travel to additional sites when required and maintain professional communication with clients.
Person SpecificationCompleted a recognised electrical apprenticeship with proven experience in electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of building services systems and plant operations.
Hospital maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM), is an advantage.
Current First Aid and CPR training (or willingness to undertake training).
Ability to obtain a Basic Disclosure Scotland certificate, due to contract requirements
Salary and Benefits:
