Painting & Decorating Apprentice

Basic decorating preparation (sanding, filling and caulking) Mist coating (getting used to using a roller) Putting down floor protector and general protective coverings Taping up woodwork ready for finish coats on walls Brush and roller work

Training:
The apprentice will be working towards the Painter and Decortator Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Functional Skills in maths and English, if required College attendance at Colchester Institute (Colchester campus) one day per week during term time

Training Outcome:

Once the student has completed their apprenticeship with us and has progressed well we would offer a full time position with views for them to grow with the company.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm, 1 hour break at 1.00pm.
