Engineering Fitter Apprentice
Assembly, testing (and potentially calibration) of air measurement products as required to fulfil customer orders
Assembly & wiring of electrical components & sub-assemblies
Use of various small hand tools and power tools
Servicing and maintenance of in-house fleet equipment
Servicing and maintenance of customer equipment returned to us for servicing. May include fault finding (disassembly) and report generation.
Training:
Duration:
• 24 months practical training period, plus 4 months for End Point Assessment
Delivery model:
• Work-based training with your employer
• Day release during term time (approximately 36 days per year, over two years)
• Approximately four on-site assessment visits per year
• Off the job training will count for at least 6 hours a week of an apprentice’s time at work
Qualifications included:
• Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Technical Knowledge)
• Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship
End Point Assessment:
• Project: report including evidence and questioning
• Multiple choice test
• Professional discussion
Training Outcome:
We hope the apprentice will go on to fulfil their full potential within our team initially on the manufacturing side of the business. Creating a pathway for future apprentices to follow and grow both the size and skill set of the team.

Working Hours :
40 Hours, Monday - Friday Start Time: 08:00, Finish Time: 16:30 Lunch break length: 0.5 hours
