Engineering Operative Apprentice
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and operating engineering equipment and machinery. Follow technical instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications. Prepare work areas and materials for engineering tasks. Carry out routine maintenance and basic fault diagnosis. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Accurately complete documentation and records. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Participate in continuous improvement activities.Training:
The learner will be studying the Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification. Day release to West Suffolk College.
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion, apprentices may progress to:
Engineering Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3). CNC Machinist. Maintenance Technician. Fabricator or Fitter roles.Employer Description:
