Healthcare Support Worker Apprentice

Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care and support based on individual needs. HCA who will be trained in how to take bloods mainly and other things related to the role, such as measuring and monitoring blood pressure Non-clinical duties such as dealing with enquiries, sign-posting and supporting with medical notes. Preparing treatment room and cleaning/ tidying after treatments

Training:
You will study towards the Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Standard as well as Functional skills in maths and English where required A blended delivery model of virtual and face-to-face classes at Wisemore campus, Walsall College

Training Outcome:

There is a potential for the role to become full-time permanent, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. 

Employer Description:
Leamore GP is a dedicated family friendly GP Practice covering the population of Leamore, Bloxwich and surrounding areas. The practice is situated in a modern purpose built premises, named Harden Health Centre. Two pharmacies are located in close proximity and are local shops.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, shifts TBC with practice.
