Maintenance Engineer Technician Apprentice
Assemble/fit components guided by technical drawings
Populate panel components guided by technical drawings, and e-drawing instructions within defined time limits
Wire machines completely to a high standard
Repair, maintain, and test equipment and machinery if needed remove/repair components to return its operational condition
Assist in improving methods and productivity
Adhere to Health and Safety standards as set out in regulations and by the company

Thurne is renowned for its high-quality, precision-engineered industrial slicing systems for bacon, cooked meats, and cheese, drawing on 50 years of industry experience. Since its establishment, the company has been a leader in high-speed slicing equipment. All assembly is performed by skilled mechanical and electrical engineers at the Norwich, UK headquarters, which features in-house component production capabilities, including multi-axis CNC machining and welding.
Working Hours :
Core working hours will be 39 hours from 7.00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday. Friday working hours will be from 7.00am to 2:30pm.
