Level 3 Nursery Apprentice - Baby Room

Be a keyworker to a group of children who you will be responsible for the care and developmental needs of the children, planning for their individual needs and ensuring that relevant observations and
developmental journals are updated regularly. You will be responsible for ensuring the children are safeguarded and their needs met at all times. You will be required to have a good partnership with all staff and parents and work effectively with the management team. Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.

Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard Work-based learning Functional Skills maths and English (if applicable)

Training Outcome:

This apprenticeship position is to cover the maternity leave of a current member of staff in the baby room, however, with the potential to lead to a full-time position within the setting.

Employer Description:
The apprentice will be working in the baby room with children aged 6 months to 2 years, and will be providing personal care to young children, help to create an enabling environment to support development. At Royal Village Day Nursery, our aim is to encourage and assist the development of the children in our care, enabling them to become capable, confident and valued individuals. We open the nursery at 8.00am and close at 6.00pm, during this time we make sure that the children enjoy a range of suitable activities that are interesting, varied, and appropriate for their different abilities.

Working Hours :
Shifts between 8:00 till 17:00 / 8:30 till 17:30 / 9:00 till 18:00. Days to be confirmed.
